We will normally provide up to five activities from the above selection based on the number of participants, instructor availability and the weather.

Number of Participants
The maximum numbers for our water activity session are dependent on the size of buoyancy aids that we have. We can currently take a maximum of 40 Scouts, 30 Cubs, or 20 Beavers per session.
- Water activity sessions can be booked from the beginning of May through to the end of September.
- Due to an ever increasing demand for these popular Water Activity Sessions we only have a limited number of 2 hour sessions available for booking. A two hour weekend session is from 1000 – 1200 noon or from 1300 – 1500 and an evening session is from 1830 – 2030.
- Evening sessions are offered Wednesday to Friday only. We prefer same age-group bookings where possible.
- The Water Activities we offer on these sessions are aimed at Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. Beaver and Parent activities will be advertised separately.
- Wharfedale District Scouts bookings take priority and can be made from 1st January.
- Bookings from outside the Wharfedale Scouts District can be made from 1st February onwards (spaces permitting).
- West Yorkshire North Guides have separately arranged two full days of water activities which should be booked via the Guide County Office. We would appreciate Guide Leaders contacting their County or District Water Activities Advisor in the first instance regarding water activities.

Job Title: Reva Booking Secretary
We are on the lookout for a new booking and staffing secretary to take over from Lisa after the end of the 2026 season (September). You do not need any experience in watersport and you do not need any scouting permits to take on this role.
Main duties include liaising with group leaders, booking groups onto the calendar, reporting to the management committee at the monthly evening meeting, sending out invoices to groups or individuals booked on courses, rebooking due to bad weather and taking course bookings.
Regarding the staffing side of the role, this involves making sure the bookings have the correct permit holders assigned to them, so they can run, making sure everyone has up to date permits and being the link between the 50+ volunteers and the management committee.
Lisa will be able to give you much more information about the role and provide support during a handover to ease you in.
Please contact Lisa on booking@revascouts.org.uk if you are interested.
The booking and staffing secretary is a vital cog in the running of the centre and the we can’t run without one.
The kitchen is finished, marking the successful completion of the internal refurbishment project.
