We are fortunate to live in beautiful and accessible countryside and to have 2 activity centres within the District. In addition, 1st Ben Rhydding Scout Group has a hostel in Upper Wharfedale.
Curly Hill Campsite & Centre
The Campsite and Hostel are located overlooking Ilkley in the Wharfe valley. The site occupies approximately 4 acres of moor/woodland with superb views of the world famous Yorkshire landmark of Ilkley Moor. The modern 43 bed hostel has a fully equipped kitchen, showers and an accessible wet-room

Reva Scouts Water Activity Centre
REVA Scouts Water Activity Centre provide RYA Sailing Courses, RYA Powerboat Courses and Water Activity Sessions which can include sailing, kayaking, open canoes, rowing, stand up paddleboarding, paddleboarding, bellboating and raft building.

Hag Dyke
Hag Dyke, in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales is a Scout Hostel administered by the Ben Rhydding Scout and Guide Group in Ben Rhydding, Ilkley. The Hostel was bequeathed to the group in 1947 and has been run by a group of volunteer wardens for the benefit of Scouts and other Youth Groups ever since.
